We intentionally keep the budget of AaAR quite modest. Every dollar donated to our fund either goes to support transportation of visiting artists (flights, rental cars, gas reimbursement), or basic piano maintenance for our salon venue. All participating artists donate their time because the retreat experience—and the relationships that come from it—are so rewarding.
Our salon events have been admission free since we began with our first concert in 2013. Members of the community share their work and interests alongside our visiting artists to create an eclectic experience across various disciplines and styles. If you've attended, you know our programs defy expectations, stretch boundaries, and always include some laughter.
Supporting us today means that you're helping to usher in new, innovative works of art that couldn't have been conceived without the space, the nature, and the camaraderie of the Gualala area. Thank you for your assistance in keeping this exhilarating project afloat.
